Since assuming power, he began planning to change from the prevailing pattern during those days, establishing a new path in the history of the region represented in unity, education, spreading culture, enhancing communication between members of society and maintaining security. He had four sons: Abdul Aziz, Abdullah, Saud, and Faisal.
Reliable informants on the status of Muhammad bin Saud mentioned that he was a man of many good deeds and worship, contemplation and contemplation, which indicates that he was a lover of his personality in extrapolation, deliberation and future vision. His father, Saud, and grandfather, Muhammad, were two princes over the Emirate of Diriyah, and they were the largest of their people.
Imam Muhammad was generous in nature, a facilitator of livelihood, and he had many properties, including palm trees and crops. He said from the generosity of Imam Muhammad bin Saud that the man was coming from the country, asking him for a lot to fulfill his debt to him, so if he knew that he was right he gave him, even in one of the years, he had a man who has a family He was working with some people's money, so he spent it on his own tasks, and he had four thousand gold, and when he arrived in Diriyah, he explained the matter to Muhammad bin Saud, so he gave him four thousand gold. His children said to him: Would you give this money to a man whom you only know by name? He said: Yes, my children, but it was made for the dignity of the children of Adam. If a brother is humiliated, he should be helped as much as possible, so that he will not be despised by the lowly, and Nasser Ibn Ibrahim, you have heard of him that he was a man who had wealth and honor, and time forced him to show his honorable people.

And it was customary for Imam Muhammad bin Saud that he did not see a young man who did not have anything from a device except that he equipped it, and commanded him to marry, and if anyone refused to give his daughter to a person who betrothed her and he is suitable, he himself walked to him, and admonished him for that, and perhaps he made it a condition that he would not marry him.
